Boris Johnson
About Boris Johnson
The flamboyant Prime Minister who delivered Brexit. Johnson, a former journalist and London mayor, was known for his disheveled appearance, classical references, and controversial behavior. He won a landslide in 2019 but his premiership collapsed in 2022 after a series of scandals including Partygate, when his staff held parties during COVID lockdowns. Johnson was a polarizing figure who inspired both fierce loyalty and intense dislike. He was replaced by Liz Truss, who lasted only 49 days, and then Rishi Sunak. Johnsons chaotic style defined his political career from start to finish.
