The Prime Minister of Singapore from 2004 to 2024. Son of founding Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, Lee Hsien Loong continued his fathers economic policies. He is a Cambridge educated mathematician and former brigadier general. His government maintained Singapores prosperity and stability while navigating tensions between the US and China. Lee stepped down in 2024 after 20 years, transferring power to Lawrence Wong in a carefully managed succession.
